Thanksgiving 2008
WOW! We had a wonderful surprize for our holiday. Tim and I were thinking that both of our kids have not been to Thanksgiving AT THE SAME TIME for many many years. Tim and I always host Thanksgiving dinner for my family every year. This year we had the treat of having BOTH OUR KIDS AND THEIR FAMILIES come. We also got to have Tims mom and dad come for the first time EVER!!!! It was great fun, (as always) but this year had to be the best! We lost two keys players in our Thanksgivings 7 years ago, BUT... I know they were watching over us this year with pleasure. Mike, my sisters husband, and our dad Kenny. If there is a way for people who have passes to watch over their families I know they were excited and happy for us all. Here are just a few pictures that we took.

Update on Woody
I have forgotten to let everyone know how Woody doing. He got out of the Elks Rehabilitation Hospital in Boise on Sept. 27, 2008. He is doing really really well. Tuesday I went to Jennifers work to take her Scenty order to her and guess who was sitting at a desk answering phones, yep, Woody! He is blind in one eye, (he says he couln'd see out of it that good before the accident) haha he is making the best of things, it could have been soooo much worse! Other than the eye, he has recovered quite well. yeahhhhh Here are a few pictures of his progress.

2008 Beginning of Fall News
Lots of things have gone on since I last sat down to blog. I am back in school and Tim has left Ontario and on to his next job in Salmon. All the kids are doing well. Hendrix is almost 6 months old now. Wowzer!! Woody went from Idaho Falls to University of Utah to South Davis in Bountiful Utah to the Elks Rehabilitation in Boise and TODAY HE IS COMING HOME. He still has some battles to conquer. He can't put much pressure on one leg and he is blind in his right eye. He is starting to get some tingeling on the right side of his face so maybe the nerve cells are starting to heal. It is an absolute miracle he lived through the accident. He has a wonderful attitude so far and is VERY excited to get home to all his girls.
Raul and Audra are back hard at it with the University of CA at Long Beach and the Girlscouts.
Neeka and Brian are both working hard trying to make ends meet now that they have an extra mouth to feed. (He is soooooooo cute!!)
All is well with all of us and fall is in the air.

Boys of Summer
I haven't been very good at posting lately, lots of things going on. This has been a crazy summer and lots of activity going on with mostly our BOYS. Our first human grandson was born in April and I got to come up to Kuna and spend the summer watching him grow up. (Literely) He is an amazing creature! WoW!! Timmy (husband) put in an underground sprinkler system so we could be gone this summer and not burn our grass up, he did a great job and it has worked fantasticly!! Our son Raul has had an incredibly track season with University of California, Long Beach. He has done amazing things with his program and athelets. He is a very talented man. He also surprized us with an unexpected visit a couple weeks ago for a cousins wedding. He got to meet Hendrix, (our human grandson) so he is officially UNCLE RAUL now. He and Audra (our A of Arizona) are coming with Sugar and Wilson (our dog grandson and daughter) on Thursday and we can't wait to see them all. We haven't gotten to see Audra and the pups since Christmas!! It is Audra, Neeka, and Timmys birthdays this month so we all get to celebrate together and I am SOOOO HAPPY!!!! We had a not so happy occurance in June when our second son (and brother) had a horrible motorcycle accident. He is still recouperating in Utah, we pray and think of him everyday and hope he will be home by the end of the summer.

Not much vacation left
It is already July 15th and I will be back to work Aug. 20th. Crap!!!!! Summer has gone pretty fast. I just got a text from Michelle and she said that the doctors have decited to air lift Jamie to Salt Every Lake to do his face sugery there. Don't know when yet but it will probably be soon. What ever is best for him is ok with all of us, as long as things will begin to accelerate. Seems like things have been at a stand still for a while. I will have to be at work the week after Raul and Audra and the boys come. That makes me sad because my time with them will be quite limited. They have tons of people to see and a wedding to go to so for them it should be fun.
Our little Hendrix is not so little anymore and I will hate not being there to watch him grow day by day. He has CHANGED DRASTICLY in the last three and a-half months!! He is alot of fun! Tim will be in Ontario longer than he thought so that at least is a good thing. I get to have him close by for a bit longer.

News on Woody (Olivia Isabell Woodland)
Michelle called us today and said that they are thinking about moving Jamie to Salt Lake City to do facial reconstrutive sugery. This is all the sugeries that he will need after his motor cycle accident on May, 22 of this year. It is amazing that only his face is what needs tended to! We are still praying for him and Jennifer and their girls. And of course my great friend Michelle who is also just like another mom to my own kids. We love this family soooo much.
Michelle
This is my friend Michelle. We have been friends since high school. MANY, MANY great funny times spend with her. She probably knows me better then anyone else on the face of the planet. HONESTLY. We also come to each others rescue whenever needed. Michelle is Jamie (Woody) mom. I love this lady!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our Friends the Tumas
This is Marlyce and I. We have been best buds since both families moved out to our neiborhood the same year and month. Our kids road the bus together and we all have been friends ever since. Lots and Lots of great times and some not so great. We have had to see each other through deaths of our fathers. (exactly one year apart to the exact day) and other unhappy periods. But we ALWAYS know we can count on each other no matter what comes up. Our friend Michelle's dad died too, we all rallied together each time. We have also rallied when four out of six kids got married. In good times and in bad, we have supported each other. You can't find that in all friendships throughout life. We are lucky to have found each other.Friday, July 11, 2008
Summer of 2008
Since school let out this spring I have had the privilege of babysitting our new grandson Hendrix. He is soooo much fun and is the cutest baby boy in the world!!!! Seriously!!!! I feel sorry for EVERYONE when school starts up again because I will probably have the biggest come apart I have ever had! And my family knows about my come-aparts!
Tim has been working in Ontario, Or. for the last year so now we get to travel together on Sundays. It used to be so sad every Sunday before because Tim and I had to say goodby on Sundays. This has worked out so well! We drive together on Sunday and Thursdays and Neeka and Brian have Lindsie and Becky watch him on Fridays. I will miss Hendrix very much this fall.
Our son Raul has had a momentous coaching year. He was honored with assistant coach of the year for the western region at the national championship track and field in Des Moines, Iowa. He did a hell of a job for the Univisity of California Long Beach. I don't think the head coach knew what a GREAT MOVE he made hiring Raul over the phone. HE KNOWS NOW THOUGH!!!!!! That is such an acomplishment to have that kind of season the very first year. Raul's girlfriend Audra changed jobs in the girl scouts so she could have a more hands on opportunity to keep things under control at their functions. That was also a smart move for the Girl Scouts to have her be in charge of the outings! Only problem I see with all this is that we don't get to see them. We haven't seen them since Christmas and I am very very sad. I can't wait till the middle of August so we can all be together again! (Are you lonely? Twice for no, once for yes) hahaha Audra gets it!!!!! I miss YOU!!
Neeka changed job after working four years at Desuetes Opitical. It was a very hard desition for her. She is not too keen on her new boss but... what can you do. She really likes the job she is doing and likes the other staff.
Brian is still with the Landgroup and is back full time again since the ground has dried up. Too much mud for surveying this spring but it did give him some time to spend with Hendrix and Neeka when they got home from the hospital.
Tim put in a underground sprinkler system this spring so it is so nice to come home on the weekends and only have to mow the lawn, spray a few weeds, and weed the flower gardens. The rest of the weekend we spend in awe at such a beautilful home and landscape we have here on the farm. It is beautiful here!!!!!!!!!

This is Jennifer, Woodys wife. These pictures were taken on Memorial Day this year. She is a wonderful wife and mother to Jamies girls. Their new addition name is Olivia Isabell Woodland. Chloe wants to call her Izzy for short. Thank goodness their older girls were in the Caman Islands when Jamie was hurt. They will be back July 2nd. We are all hoping there will be great news by then.

We feel very lucky to have such great kids. Raul and Audra live in Long Beach, Ca. Raul is an assistant track coach, he is in charge of sprints, hurdles, relays and sprint medleys. Audra works for the Girl Scouts of America, she is out there with the girls organizing all of there functions. The University and the Girls Scouts are very lucky to have these two. They both put 100 % + into their jobs. We sure do miss them!!!!!!!!!!
Neeka and Brian got married in April of 2006. On April 9th of this year they had an addition to their family. Hendrix Seely Reyes was born at 1:25 a.m. He has made a huge impact on our family. Uncle Raul and Aunt Audra have not got to see him in person yet, (they don't know it yet but Hendrix will steal their hearts just like he has stolen all of ours) He is a character, he is a funny guy with a bit of a temper. We can not wait for Raul and Audra to meet him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a picture of my best friend Debbie Palazzlo. We have know each other FOREVER. I am glad to say we have never fought or stayed mad at each other. We are very lucky to have found each other back in the days!
One time or other I said to my brother and... Only Deb and our kids can appreciate that quote. hahaha
